DJ Colonel began his musical career as a self-taught musician playing bass guitar for a lovers rock band called Prediction, enjoying chart success with their lovers rock version of the hit The Way We Were which reached number 12 in the national charts.
With music still flowing through his veins after the end of the band, he joined the street sound called Scarpion Studio (one of the biggest sounds in West London at the time) as the soul selector, playing mainly at house parties and honing his skills as a selector.
With his well-rounded style and love of all genres he was soon being booked by various promoters to play at events around London as well as weekenders around the country. This has also led to him entertaining crowds at annual events, both at home and abroad, including Notting Hill Carnival, the St Lucia Jazz Festival, Soul Village Barcelona and Rotterdam Carnival to name a few.
He can also be heard entertaining and engaging the listeners of Cruize-Radio.com where he hosts 3 shows per week incorporating his highly popular Battle of the Artistes feature.
